The Michauds at Fairfield Park
As May came to an end, I met the Michaud family at Fairfield park in Amherstview, Ontario, for a fun-filled lakeside family session. We had a sunny morning and the lilac bushes in full bloom on our side.
My favorite family sessions are ones where I get to be a fly on the wall of an outing, and just observe while everyone exists together. I’m not a huge fan of trying to pose kids, because it usually backfires and results in disgruntled facial expressions and stiffness. Finding a park that has scenic views as well as activities for the kids is always a plus, because it brings some smiles from even the shyest of kids. Luckily on this gorgeous May morning, I had no problem getting candid smiles out of everyone, especially Johnny on the swing set.
