Hi, I’m Kira!
My love for photography started pretty early in my childhood - I had a little red plastic 35mm film camera that left all my pictures with a washed-out, pinkish tint. While my gear has certainly gotten an upgrade since then (and I’m marginally taller now), my passion for documenting my own life and the lives those around me has remained ever-present.
I’m very lucky that what inspires me creatively every day is now my full-time gig. I don’t ever take it for granted, and I show up to every photo session with a desire to create something that feels different.
My approach is part documentary moments, part editorial. I want to capture my clients’ authentic selves, but in a way that feels elevated, or cinematic. I want you to get your photos back and think, “wow - nobody has ever captured me like this”
As human beings, we all want to feel seen and understood. Whether I’ve known you for ten years or ten minutes, I want to hear your story. I want to capture you in a way that feels raw and true with an artistic edge. Whether it’s your wedding day, the day you bring your baby home from the hospital, or just a regular Tuesday - I come to bare witness. Chaos, tears, laughter, all encouraged.
